Mindful Book series
Dinosaurs Have
Big Feelings Too
I am excited to share with you my first children's book in the Mindful Adventure Series, Dinosaurs Have Big Feelings Too. Those of you who have studied with me over these years will remember the Finger Hold Practice to Manage Emotions. I am excited to have created a fun and joyful way to present these practices to younger children, families and educators.
This first story was what I created to teach kids a somatic and playful way to learn the Finger Holds during COVID. My son Bodhi and his classmates response to these practices surprised me and showed me how important these tools are to navigate life's challenges, not just for adults but for kids too.

Here are some of my favorite testimonials:

Dinosaurs Have Big Feelings Too is an ingenious, direct-connect educational story that takes young children by the hand and walks them through the world of their own emotions. A positive role model who faces similar struggles to the kids and by having well-meaning friends around Rex, he can gently work through his emotions with them so children get a sense of hope that they too will be OK. The book is at once empowering and soothing. ~ Prof. James Douglas – Specialist in Children’s Literature
