Those of you who have studied with me over these many decades, will remember learning the Finger Hold Practice to Manage Emotions. Now to support intergenerational learning I have created The Mindful Adventure for the Family series. This is a fun and joyful way to learn nervous system regulation techniques for children, families and educators.
This first story, Dinosaurs Have Big Feelings Too, I created to teach kids the Finger Holds during COVID. My son Bodhi and his classmates response to these practices surprised me. They showed me how important these tools are to navigate life's challenges, not just for adults but for kids too.
